About the Nt10 PCB

Nt10 is an open source PCB design by evyd13, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40 × 16.1 mm, with 8 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the USBLC6-2SC6. By type, the board carries 4 connectors, 2 resistors, 1 IC and 1 fuse.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

Replacement PCBs for the FC660m, FC750r and FC980m.

The nt-10 is a USB-C daughterboard designed to fit the Leopold range of keyboards. At the time of writing those are the:

Upon removal of the old (probably Mini USB) daughterboard, carefully insert the nt-10 and make sure the USB-C connector fits the cutout in the case. If it does not fit, you can use a small file to increase the cutout size.

You might have to swap the wires on some boards, I had to on the 980m. Lift up the tabs using tweezers or a small knife (don't hurt yourself!) and take out the wires, then press the tabs back down and insert the wires in the correct order.

Nt10: common questions

How big is the Nt10 PCB?

The Nt10 measures 40 × 16.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1 mm thick.

How many components are on the Nt10?

8 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Nt10 design files?

From the evyd13/nt-series repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Nt10 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-SA-4.0 license, which evyd13 chose for the repository.
