Description: - Simple analog model train power control.

Source refrence: - Maplin-Electronics-1985-03-05.pdf p.56 (54)

This is functional similar but not exact copy. All dimension were estimated by eye. Tried to use similar component placment as much as posible, but using only Kicad standard PCB component footprint library, so dimentions may very.

The KiCad project lives in the eyalo-dev/cad-public repository on GitHub; these links point at the commit this page was built from.

TrainControl: common questions

How big is the TrainControl PCB?

The TrainControl measures 95.3 × 57.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the TrainControl?

23 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the TrainControl design files?

From the eyalo-dev/cad-public repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the TrainControl design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with eyalo-dev. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
