A personal carry device in the shape of a carrot, Carrie is an interpretation of the carrot pen used by Judy Hopps in Zootopia. It's built with a microphone and a camera, integrated into the tiny form factor of a pen, and powered by an embedded Linux microcontroller (Luckfox Pico Mini B) on a custom PCB. With the click of a button, Carrie records 1080p footage at 30 FPS with audio, making sure you never forget to…

Carry: common questions

How big is the Carry PCB?

The Carry measures 21.5 × 28.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Carry?

8 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Carry design files?

From the Fangoboyo/carrie-shenzhen repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Carry design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Fangoboyo. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
