The FibStack PiSwitcher Plus board was designed to help you in your next automation project.
The FibStack PiSwitcher Plus board was designed to help you in your next automation project.
The board has four high-quality relays allowing it to switch high voltage and currents. Controlling a steam iron or an oven is not the right task for the board, but it will handle most home appliances below 1200W. Each relay has an LED indicator showing when the NO (Normal Open) contact is connected to the COM (Common).

Pi switcher plus: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pi switcher plus use?
The Pi switcher plus is built around the ATtiny824-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Pi switcher plus PCB?
The Pi switcher plus measures 65 × 56 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Pi switcher plus?
43 components, from 12 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pi switcher plus design files?
From the FibStack/pi-switcher-plus repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pi switcher plus design in my own project?
It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Pi switcher plus without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
