It belongs with the test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

Logic Analyzer probe pod for the Rigol MSO5000 scopes

Original version by Flemming Frandsen: https://gitlab.com/dren.dk/mso5k-la-pod

This is a reimplementation of the Logic Analyzer pod for the Rigol MSO5000 scopes.

The scopes all come with the ability to accept a logic analyzer, all that's needed is a probe, this project is the implementation of the probe.

The schematic and PCB is in kicad 5 format.

There are a number of different projects each in its own subdir:

Mso5k la-16ch: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mso5k la-16ch use?

The Mso5k la-16ch is built around the ATtiny44A-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Mso5k la-16ch PCB?

The Mso5k la-16ch measures 90 × 46.2 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mso5k la-16ch?

232 components, from 28 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mso5k la-16ch design files?

From the flesniak/mso5k-la-pod repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mso5k la-16ch design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with flesniak. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Mso5k la-16ch without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
