Complete circuit creation using a stenograph-like keyboard. This includes component placement, routing, user-defined symbols, and export to KiCad (no mouse or code required for the user).

QMK firmware and ergonomic design is my current main focus. After I've settled on a good ergonomic design, I hope to learn more on challenges EDA tools like KiCAD are facing.

Stenoqwit: common questions

How big is the Stenoqwit PCB?

The Stenoqwit measures 190.5 × 64.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Stenoqwit?

48 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Stenoqwit design files?

From the Fraexex/Stenoqwit repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Stenoqwit design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Fraexex. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
