About the First-PCB-Design

First-PCB-Design is an open source STM32 PCB design by Granitovich, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40.5 × 71 mm, with 22 components from 14 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the C7021416, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the ENS210-LQFM and C351784. By type, the board carries 9 resistors, 6 capacitors, 3 ICs, 2 switches and 1 LED.

It belongs with the displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

STM32G0B1KET6 based project

A custom PCB design built around the STM32G0B1KET6 microcontroller. This project contains a complete hardware design for a minimal development board featuring power management, debugging interfaces, and a directly mounted TFT display.

Microcontroller: STM32G0B1KET6 (ARM Cortex-M0+, 512 KB Flash, 144 KB RAM, up to 64 MHz). Display Interface: Dedicated pinout and footprint for mounting a TFT LCD module directly on top of the PCB. Power Supply: Linear voltage regulator (LDO) to step down input voltage to +3.3V. Decoupling and bulk capacitors for stable operation and MCU noise suppression.…

First-PCB-Design: common questions

What microcontroller does the First-PCB-Design use?

The First-PCB-Design is built around the C7021416, from the STM32 family.

How big is the First-PCB-Design?

The First-PCB-Design measures 40.5 × 71 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the First-PCB-Design?

22 components, from 14 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the First-PCB-Design design files?

From the Granitovich/First-PCB-Design repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the First-PCB-Design design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which Granitovich chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the First-PCB-Design without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
