About the Oscillator PCB

Oscillator is an open source PCB design by gridbugs, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 71 × 108 mm, with 48 components from 30 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the AS3340-custom and TL074. By type, the board carries 20 resistors, 13 connectors, 8 capacitors, 2 ICs and 1 switch.

From the project

- All the potentiometers are connected backwards, so use a flipped pot socket to connect them. - The IDC power sockets don't connect the 5V rail between them. Connect a wire here so modules can be daisy chained after this one.

Oscillator: common questions

How big is the Oscillator PCB?

The Oscillator measures 71 × 108 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Oscillator?

48 components, from 30 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Oscillator design files?

From the gridbugs/modular2 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Oscillator design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which gridbugs chose for the repository.
