Its main chip is the ABX00033, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the MAX31865ATP+. By type, the board carries 11 capacitors, 8 resistors, 7 diodes, 2 ICs, 2 connectors and 2 inductors.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Open-source, dual-channel PID temperature-control hardware for Arduino Nano Every, with SSR control, dual MAX31865 RTD sensing, Python/XLSX logging, and single-step FOPDT/SIMC analytical tuning.

TSRCT-PCB-01 is an Arduino Nano Every–based temperature-control board for experimental thermal management. It connects two Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) to independent 5 V digital solid-state-relay (SSR) control outputs, with controller power and host communication through a single USB connection. External SSRs switch a separately powered heater circuit.

TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller: common questions

What microcontroller does the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller use?

The TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller is built around the ABX00033, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller PCB?

The TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller measures 90 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller?

42 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller design files?

From the hefinn-lab/TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the TSRCT-PT100-SSR-PID-Temperature-Controller without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
