From the project

Ergogen keyboard project (KiCad 8) with local preview/edit app

Ergogen keyboard project, migrated to KiCad 8 with a local preview/edit app.

This repo contains the full keyboard definition: a split ergo board with a matrix, thumb cluster, rotary encoder and its own nice!nano controller per half. It is a wireless split (independent MCU on each half, e.g. ZMK). The numpad that used to live in the old heyjva/ergogen fork is not part of this repo.

Main bill of materials (BOM)

40 components, 6 distinct parts.

Main: common questions

How big is the Main PCB?

The Main measures 141 × 130.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Main?

40 components, from 6 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Main design files?

From the heyjva/ergogen-keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Main design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with heyjva. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
