Teensy 4.0 based ECU for BYU Formula SAE Electric's 2025–26 car. This is the board Project Atlas was designed to replace.
It is here as the design record for the car's previous electronics, and as the reference point for what the STM32 redesign was trying to fix: a development board carrying the whole system, high-current switching on discrete through-hole parts, and a single CAN domain.

ECU PCB 2026: common questions
What microcontroller does the ECU PCB 2026 use?
The ECU PCB 2026 is built around the Teensy4.0, from the NXP family.
How big is the ECU PCB 2026?
The ECU PCB 2026 measures 71 × 101.6 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 0.41116 mm thick.
How many components are on the ECU PCB 2026?
18 components, from 12 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ECU PCB 2026 design files?
From the higg22-git/ECU_PCB_2026 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ECU PCB 2026 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with higg22-git. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ECU PCB 2026 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
