It carries a known diode-polarity defect (symbol pin 1 = anode vs footprint pad 1 = cathode on D1-D3) and no PA0/PA1/PC9 circuits. The Rev.2 controller is a new design in Hardware/Rev2Controller/. rootduplicateproject/ holds the second, smaller .kicadpro/.kicadprl that used to sit in the repo root. tools/mfg` still reads these files only for the regression tests that reproduce the Rev.1 defect.

OSBAMS: common questions

What microcontroller does the OSBAMS use?

The OSBAMS is built around the STM32L476RGT6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the OSBAMS PCB?

The OSBAMS measures 80 × 80 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the OSBAMS?

16 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the OSBAMS design files?

From the hle12345/OSBAMS repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the OSBAMS design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which hle12345 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the OSBAMS without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
