About the Pteropus keyboard PCB
Pteropus keyboard is an open source STM32 PCB design by hulahermit, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 284 × 139 mm, with 89 components from 12 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32F072C8Tx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the MCP1700x-330xxTT and USBLC6-2SC6. By type, the board carries 38 switches, 36 diodes, 7 capacitors, 3 ICs, 3 resistors and 1 connector.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

A Miryoku inspired 36-key non-split keyboard
pteropus keyboard ================= Another Miryoku inspired 36-key keyboard.
After seeing the Miryoku layout on the web, I really wanted to try with a 36-key keyboard.
I looked some keyboards, like Iris, Crowboard, Kyria, etc., and I feel that I need to create keyboard geometry that fits my hands.
So I printed those layout and modify them to fit my hands and hopefully it will work.

Pteropus keyboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pteropus keyboard use?
The Pteropus keyboard is built around the STM32F072C8Tx, from the STM32 family.
How big is the Pteropus keyboard PCB?
The Pteropus keyboard measures 284 × 139 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Pteropus keyboard?
89 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pteropus keyboard design files?
From the hulahermit/pteropus_keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pteropus keyboard design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hulahermit. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Pteropus keyboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
