About the Ddr ps2-controller PCB
Ddr ps2-controller is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by kcuzner, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 40 mm, with 46 components from 23 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATtiny20-MMH, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the MIC2860-P. By type, the board carries 18 resistors, 8 connectors, 8 diodes, 8 capacitors, 3 ICs and 1 transistor.

A Dance Dance Revolution Controller for the PlayStation 2
This is my attempt at a low-cost, but high quality DIY DDR controller which is compatible with the Sony PlayStation 2.
The firmware is based loosely on my Pop-N-Music PS2 Controller. though I've rewritten it to be closer to my current style.
Although it would be cool to use an STM32 or other advanced ARM controller, that is overkill for what this is. Turns out, a $0.60 AVR microcontroller can meet all the digital requirements without even needing a 3.3V regulator. To that end, here is the main featureset:

Ddr ps2-controller: common questions
What microcontroller does the Ddr ps2-controller use?
The Ddr ps2-controller is built around the ATtiny20-MMH, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Ddr ps2-controller PCB?
The Ddr ps2-controller measures 100 × 40 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Ddr ps2-controller?
46 components, from 23 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Ddr ps2-controller design files?
From the kcuzner/ddr-ps2-controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Ddr ps2-controller design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with kcuzner. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Ddr ps2-controller without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
