From the project

An award-winning, STM32F205-based autonomous Micromouse featuring a custom 2-layer PCB, 9-DOF IMU motion tracking, and C-based flood-fill navigation algorithms.

This repository details the hardware and firmware design of a Generation 1 autonomous Micromouse. Built from scratch, the project encompasses component selection, schematic capture, 2-layer PCB layout, and embedded C programming.

Here is some pictures of our PCB design and our Micromouse!

Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject: common questions

What microcontroller does the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject use?

The Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject is built around the STM32 Microcontroller, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject PCB?

The Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject measures 80 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject?

105 components, from 37 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject design files?

From the kevinyan0620/Micromouse_Gen1_ClubProject repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with kevinyan0620. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Micromouse Gen1 ClubProject without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
