About the TubeLevelShifter PCB

TubeLevelShifter is an open source PCB design by kgl2001, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 26.9 × 50.8 mm, with 16 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the SN74LVC245APWR. By type, the board carries 4 resistors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 diodes, 2 capacitors and 1 fuse.

From the project

Pi1MHz Level Shifter PCB for BBC Micro

This project allows a Raspberry Pi to be connected to the Tube port on the BBC Micro and Master 128 computers. With the PiTubeDirect software loaded onto the Pi, the following list of co-processors can be emulated:

Most Pi models are compatible with PiTubeDirect. The smaller PiZero, PiZeroW or PiZero2W and level shifter can sit under a Beeb or Master.

The larger Pi1, Pi2, Pi3A/B & Pi4 models are also supported via a cable as they won't fit under the computer.
