About the Acoustic levitation PCB
Acoustic levitation is an open source PCB design by leastrobino, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-1.2 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 98.8 × 24 mm, with 21 components from 4 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MAX17079GTL+. By type, the board carries 4 capacitors, 2 ICs and 1 connector.

The piezoelectric transducers signals generation is written in VHDL. The phases computation and the G-Code interpreter are written in C and run on embedded Linux. The device controls 88 channels at 40 kHz with a phase resolution of π/625.

Acoustic levitation: common questions
How big is the Acoustic levitation PCB?
The Acoustic levitation measures 98.8 × 24 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.55 mm thick.
How many components are on the Acoustic levitation?
21 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Acoustic levitation design files?
From the leastrobino/acoustic-levitation repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Acoustic levitation design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-1.2 license, which leastrobino chose for the repository.
