About the HeartKeychain PCB

HeartKeychain is an open source PCB design by Mahmoud1205, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 63 × 56.8 mm, with 8 components from 4 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 3 diodes, 3 resistors, 1 battery holder and 1 switch.

It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

A PCB keychain in the shape of a heart that lights up. A project for the Hack Club Stasis program.

I made this keychain as a gift to someone, I wanted to make it as a PCB because I was finally confident in my PCB design and fabrication skills after my progress in the Athan Lamp project.

HeartKeychain: common questions

How big is the HeartKeychain PCB?

The HeartKeychain measures 63 × 56.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the HeartKeychain?

8 components, from 4 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the HeartKeychain design files?

From the Mahmoud1205/HeartKeychain repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the HeartKeychain design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Mahmoud1205. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
