About the Rosco ide ata PCB

Rosco ide ata is an open source PCB design by markrvmurray, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-1.2 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 83.8 × 113 mm, with 25 components from 18 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 16V8, ATF750, 74HCT241 and 74HCT245. By type, the board carries 9 capacitors, 5 ICs, 5 resistors, 3 connectors, 1 transistor and 1 jumper.

From the project

IDE/ATA Interface for Rosco_68k

This is a minimalist PIO-only interface to PATA hard disk and compatible devices.

It has received minimal testing, and is being released in the hope that it may be useful to someone, somewhere.

The materials in this repository will, when assembled, give a board that will map the IDE registers into the Rosco_68k's address space.

The above memory locations base address may be changed by changing the U1 image. This is written in CUPL, and you will need a programmer capable of programming GAL16V8s or the equivalent.
