The Rhymestone is 40-key (40%) ortholinear keyboard. It is based on The crkbd and The Helix keyboard. Thank you so much makoto kurauchi-san and foostan-san.😊

The Treadstone48 is 47 or 48-key (50%) Symmetric staggered keyboard. It is based on the Rhymestone. Therefore, The Rhymestone can connect to the Treadstone48 as Numpad or lefthand keyboard. (rev1 only)

Treadstone32: common questions

What microcontroller does the Treadstone32 use?

The Treadstone32 is built around the ATMEGA32U4, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Treadstone32 PCB?

The Treadstone32 measures 198.8 × 75.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Treadstone32?

79 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Treadstone32 design files?

From the marksard/Keyboards repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Treadstone32 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which marksard chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Treadstone32 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
