About the Mini-Inverter PCB

Mini-Inverter is an open source PCB design by Milan323-debug, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 19 components from 14 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the IR2153. By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 4 capacitors, 3 diodes, 2 transistors, 1 IC and 1 battery holder.

From the project

Compact 12V DC to 240V AC half-bridge inverter PCB designed in KiCad using IR2153 driver and IRLIZ44N MOSFETs

This is a learning project in power electronics and PCB design. The circuit converts 12V DC input (battery or PSU) to drive the primary of a 240V → 12V step-down transformer in reverse, producing a high-voltage AC output suitable for demonstration and educational purposes.

The oscillation frequency is user-adjustable via an onboard 10K potentiometer, making it easy to tune for the transformer's characteristics.
