About the M.2-Templates PCB

M.2-Templates is an open source PCB design by mornepousse, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 24 × 95 mm, with 4 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the M.2-B+M-KEY, M.2-B-KEY, M.2-B-KEY-2280-ADAPTER and M.2-NO-KEY.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

From the project

Recepteur USB 2.4 GHz du clavier Niphargus et de la souris Conchodytes — ESP32-S3 / ESP32-P4, nRF24L01+, format M.2 Key B

USB receiver dongles for the Niphargus wireless split keyboard, and soon for the Conchodytes mouse. Both talk 2.4 GHz over nRF24L01+ and share this single receiver, which presents itself to the host as a USB HID device.

Each Niphargus half is self-contained — its own ESP32-S3-WROOM-1, nRF24L01+ and 16340 cell — and transmits on its own link. Hence the two radios on the dongle, one per half. The mouse will join on an additional pipe or in a later revision.
