About the Arduino shield
Arduino shield is an open source PCB design by nruth633, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 83.8 × 53.3 mm, with 46 components from 20 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the MCP6002-xP. By type, the board carries 27 resistors, 11 connectors, 2 switches, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.
It belongs with the audio, displays & leds and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
Arduino Uno shield with a 10-bit R-2R DAC, audio jacks, and IMU and OLED headers (KiCad)
An Arduino Uno shield I designed in KiCad, had fabricated, and soldered by hand. It adds a 10-bit R-2R ladder DAC (10 kΩ / 20 kΩ, on D0–D9) buffered by an MCP6002 op-amp, 3.5 mm audio in and out jacks, two pots, two buttons, and headers for an MPU6050 IMU and an SSD1306 OLED.

Arduino shield: common questions
How big is the Arduino shield?
The Arduino shield measures 83.8 × 53.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Arduino shield?
46 components, from 20 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Arduino shield design files?
From the nruth633/arduino-shield-pcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Arduino shield design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nruth633. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
