About the ArduinoJimStim PCB
ArduinoJimStim is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by pggood, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 97.1 × 74.9 mm, with 51 components from 19 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 18 resistors, 13 diodes, 9 connectors, 2 transistors, 2 switches and 1 module.
From the project
Arduino implementation of the JimStim used for megasquirt
A pattern based ignition emulator with 44 common ignition and cam patterns .
Each pattern is a sequence where the first digit is the ignition and cam pulse and the second is the number of degrees it applies for .
The sequence is terminated with 0xff,0, where it loops Back to the beginning.
As it is writing directly to PORTB you could potentially have up to 6 outputs in the pattern.

ArduinoJimStim: common questions
What microcontroller does the ArduinoJimStim use?
The ArduinoJimStim is built around the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the ArduinoJimStim PCB?
The ArduinoJimStim measures 97.1 × 74.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the ArduinoJimStim?
51 components, from 19 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ArduinoJimStim design files?
From the pggood/ArduinoJimStim repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ArduinoJimStim design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with pggood. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ArduinoJimStim without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
