Power minitoring utility for AGP graphics cards

The AGP Power Monitor is uses a custom AGP riser card to measure and monitor power consumption of AGP cards. It provides real-time voltage and current measurements for the various power rails used by AGP graphics cards, allowing for detailed power analysis and troubleshooting.

- AGP Connectors: Edge connector for AGP cards and slot connector for motherboard interface - Power Measurement: INA3221 triple-channel power monitors for measuring voltage and current - Microcontroller: STM32F103C8T6 MCU for data processing and USB communication - Power Supply: All logic is powered via the USB input -…

Agp power monitor: common questions

What microcontroller does the Agp power monitor use?

The Agp power monitor is built around the STM32F103C6TX, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Agp power monitor PCB?

The Agp power monitor measures 115 × 76.3 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Agp power monitor?

119 components, from 37 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Agp power monitor design files?

From the TeHSiGGi/agp-power-monitor repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Agp power monitor design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which TeHSiGGi chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Agp power monitor without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
