About the Copper PCB

Copper is an open source PCB design by Toglefritz, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 17.8 × 12.7 mm, with 7 components from 6 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the WS2812B. By type, the board carries 4 jumpers, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.

From the project

A PCB Design Analysis Tool Powered by Azure Services.

Copper is a web application built in Flutter that helps engineers analyze and improve their KiCad PCB designs. By parsing PCB design files, the application extracts key design information and uses Azure AI Services to provide insights, detect errors, and suggest optimizations.

1️⃣ User Uploads a KiCad PCB File The user selects a PCB design file (.kicadpcb`) file and uploads it to the application.

Copper: common questions

How big is the Copper PCB?

The Copper measures 17.8 × 12.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Copper?

7 components, from 6 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Copper design files?

From the Toglefritz/Copper repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Copper design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Toglefritz. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
