Git du projet drone de Robotech 2025 / 2026

ESP32-based 5" drone built by the Robotech team. Attitude is estimated from a 9-axis IMU, then converted into motor commands through a PID loop. Control and telemetry go over the ESP32's built-in Wi-Fi (UDP).

A 9-axis IMU (accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer) feeds a Madgwick AHRS filter to estimate attitude. Angular commands from that estimate drive the motors via DShot.

Manette drone Robotech: common questions

What microcontroller does the Manette drone Robotech use?

The Manette drone Robotech is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Manette drone Robotech PCB?

The Manette drone Robotech measures 164.2 × 95 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Manette drone Robotech?

14 components, from 7 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Manette drone Robotech design files?

From the Tomnwol/drone-robotech repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Manette drone Robotech design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Tomnwol. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Manette drone Robotech without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
