About the Goodfet PCB
Goodfet is an open source PCB design by travisgoodspeed, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 84 × 82 mm, with 234 components from 53 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the UMN1N, DG408, GSG-LM339, UMP1N and MC4558. By type, the board carries 122 resistors, 68 capacitors, 31 ICs, 6 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 inductors.
From the project
An embedded bus adapter for various microcontrollers and radios.
TOAD: Totally Over-engineered Adapter/Detector
designed with KiCad: http://www.kicad-pcb.org
This is an experimental add-on module for the gflpc1343. Firmware for this board does not yet exist.
TOAD supports UART communication with configurable pinout and configurable voltages including both TTL and RS-232 levels. It also has some interesting probing and sniffing capabilities.

Goodfet: common questions
How big is the Goodfet PCB?
The Goodfet measures 84 × 82 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Goodfet?
234 components, from 53 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Goodfet design files?
From the travisgoodspeed/goodfet repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Goodfet design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with travisgoodspeed. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
