About the MacroByte PCB

MacroByte is an open source PCB design by travletothefurureprogramming, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 2 × 30.2 mm, with 4 components from 2 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MOUDLE-SEEEDUINO-XIAO. By type, the board carries 3 switches and 1 IC.

It belongs with the keyboards and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

From the project

MacroByte is a custom made macropad specifically designed for programmers

Welcome to my custom DIY Hackpad project! This is a compact, 3-key mechanical macropad designed from scratch using KiCad for the PCB, Fusion 360 for the case, and programmed in Python using the KMK Firmware over CircuitPython.

It is specifically tailored to speed up my programming workflow with automated shortcuts.

This macropad runs on KMK Firmware via CircuitPython.
