About the Tympan Rev C Hardware PCB
Tympan Rev C Hardware is an open source PCB design by Tympan, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 38.5 × 97.6 mm, with 78 components from 32 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the RN42-I/RM, TLV320AIC3206IRSBT, MCP73831T-2ACI/OT and LP5907MFX-1.8/NOPB. By type, the board carries 26 capacitors, 24 resistors, 11 connectors, 5 diodes, 4 ICs and 2 test points.
From the project
Repository for the board files for Tympan Rev C
These design files were made with KiCAD PCB capture software. The custom component files for parts used in this design are located in the repo as well. Everything should render correctly in the Schematic and the PCB. If not, you may need to adjust the library paths.
This work is based on work done by Creare and their team in Spring of 2017. Modifications have been made to their Rev A hardware design to overcome bugs and improve the design.
