About the Mgc xmega64 PCB
Mgc xmega64 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by 0x007E, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 33 × 48.9 mm, with 40 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATxmega64A4U-A, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the DG418LDY. By type, the board carries 16 resistors, 13 capacitors, 5 connectors, 3 ICs, 1 crystal and 1 switch.
From the project
MeGARCard - ATXMega64 Module
The ATxmega64 (mgcmodule) is an adaptable board for the MeGARCard. The board offers the possibility to control the MeGARCard with an ATxmega64. The board itself is connected to the MeGARCard within the pcb-to-pcb connectors (no soldering necessary). With the onboard dip-switches the reset can be enabled/disabled for PDI` programming.
The pcb is created with KiCAD. All files are built with github actions so that they are ready for a production environment.

Mgc xmega64: common questions
What microcontroller does the Mgc xmega64 use?
The Mgc xmega64 is built around the ATxmega64A4U-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Mgc xmega64 PCB?
The Mgc xmega64 measures 33 × 48.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Mgc xmega64?
40 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Mgc xmega64 design files?
From the 0x007E/mgc_xmega64 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Mgc xmega64 design in my own project?
It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Mgc xmega64 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
