About the Stmdevboard PCB
Stmdevboard is an open source STM32 PCB design by asadpetwalker, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 36.2 × 38.1 mm, with 31 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32F411RCTx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the NCP1117-3.3_SOT223 and TVS1400DRV. By type, the board carries 15 capacitors, 6 resistors, 4 connectors, 3 ICs, 2 switches and 1 crystal.
It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.
From the project
STM32 Dev Board. Last year, I made an STM board but I had some trouble with programming and soldering the board, and it didn't end up working. Thus, I want to actually make a proper STM32 board this time instead of rushing into an entire custom board.
This dev board uses the STM32F411 LFQP package with 512kB of memory. It features SWD program headers. You can program it with the PA9/PA10 UART pins, or the SWD headers, or through DFU flash.

Stmdevboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Stmdevboard use?
The Stmdevboard is built around the STM32F411RCTx, from the STM32 family.
How big is the Stmdevboard PCB?
The Stmdevboard measures 36.2 × 38.1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Stmdevboard?
31 components, from 17 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Stmdevboard design files?
From the asadpetwalker/stmdevboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Stmdevboard design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which asadpetwalker chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Stmdevboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
