Single Board Computer PCB Design Files in KiCad

A custom-designed single-board computer built with RP2354B MCU. This project serves as a hardware platform for my experimental operating system. In its form it was inspired by the original Raspberry Pi SBC. However, it features an MCU that is much more managable in terms of low level development, as it is provided with comprehensive datasheet covering all details. Additionally, the board includes hardware interfaces (VGA, PS2, microSD) specifically selected for their simplicity in driver implementation. The board also features Ethernet chip by WIZNet and slot for soldering Raspberry Pi Radio…

GeT Computer: common questions

What microcontroller does the GeT Computer use?

The GeT Computer is built around the RP2354_80QFN, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the GeT Computer PCB?

The GeT Computer measures 85 × 56 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1 mm thick.

How many components are on the GeT Computer?

112 components, from 44 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the GeT Computer design files?

From the atwardzik/GeT_Computer repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the GeT Computer design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with atwardzik. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the GeT Computer without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
