About the LogicAnalyzer PCB

LogicAnalyzer is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by gusmanb, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 57 × 55.2 mm, with 6 components from 6 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the TXU0104PWR, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 1 IC, 1 diode and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

24 channel, 100Msps logic analyzer hardware and software

Hey, I know the project has been under silence for a long time, but it is not abandoned, I've moved from house and has been a true nightmare. Finally the moving is complete and I will retake the project very soon, in a couple of weeks, so expect big changes in the near future!

This README is organized as a log of the evolution of the project and for now it will stay like this. If you are new to the project and want to know what is this about you can start here or reading the wiki.

LogicAnalyzer: common questions

What microcontroller does the LogicAnalyzer use?

The LogicAnalyzer is built around the TXU0104PWR, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the LogicAnalyzer PCB?

The LogicAnalyzer measures 57 × 55.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the LogicAnalyzer?

6 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the LogicAnalyzer design files?

From the gusmanb/logicanalyzer repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the LogicAnalyzer design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which gusmanb chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the LogicAnalyzer without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
