About the Badge PCB
Badge is an open source STM32 PCB design by aykevl, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 50 × 30 mm, with 75 components from 20 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the STM32L052C8Tx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the XC6206PxxxMR. By type, the board carries 37 diodes, 17 resistors, 10 transistors, 6 capacitors, 2 ICs and 1 connector.
It belongs with the wearables designs in this gallery.

Collection of microcontroller projects
This is my personal stash of small electronics projects, usually written using TinyGo.
I won't guarantee anything about it. All I can say is that it did work for me at some point and I like sharing what I made. Many things are written once and then mostly forgotten so I probably won't provide any support for any of the code.
Feel free to use this code however you wish (in other words, you can treat it as public domain). Especially for small parts I won't mind if you just copy it in your project. For larger pieces of code or if you copy a project entirely, I would appreciate attribution…

Badge: common questions
What microcontroller does the Badge use?
The Badge is built around the STM32L052C8Tx, from the STM32 family.
How big is the Badge PCB?
The Badge measures 50 × 30 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Badge?
75 components, from 20 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Badge design files?
From the aykevl/things repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Badge design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with aykevl. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Badge without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
