About the Menorah PCB
Menorah is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by azzeloof, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 111.6 × 130.3 mm, with 30 components from 9 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATtiny85-20PU, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 13 diodes, 8 crystals, 5 resistors, 1 IC, 1 connector and 1 battery holder.
From the project
PCB aside, the total component cost comes to less than $10. You'll need an AVR programmer too (though I think you can use an Arduino).

Firmware will be added soon. I wanted to post this as soon as I finished the hardware in case anybody wants to make one in time for Hanukkah!
If you want to make your own, you can take the gerbers from the hardware directory. It can be directly ordered from PCBWay also.

Menorah: common questions
What microcontroller does the Menorah use?
The Menorah is built around the ATtiny85-20PU, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Menorah PCB?
The Menorah measures 111.6 × 130.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Menorah?
30 components, from 9 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Menorah design files?
From the azzeloof/menorah repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Menorah design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with azzeloof. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Menorah without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
