From the project

PCBs to plug various newer SMT parts into vintage DIP sockets. Generaly to use a newer PLCC, SOIC, or TSOP EEPROM or Flash part to replace a DIP mask ROM or UV EPROM in a vintage computer.

Most of the PCBs have holes that are intentionally too small to use standard pin headers for the DIP legs. Here is how to do the legs: https://gist.github.com/bkw777/52d85d89eeff8445cc667685d05ea94d It's less convenient than generic pin headers but the point is for the legs to be as thin as the DIP legs they are emulating so as not to damage sockets, and to have the replacement "chip" be low profile without the big isulator & shoulder block taking up space so the replacement chip fits in more places.
