From the project
A Lattice ECP5 FPGA design plus host software that streams 512 neural-probe channels at 15,625 Hz off an ADC board, over USB 3.0 (FT600), into a host daemon that decodes, records, and plots the data live.

The visualizer is a real-time 8-panel scope with an attached command terminal. adcdaemon (C) owns the USB device and decodes frames; adclive.py (Python) connects to it over a Unix socket and draws the scrolling plot.

FPGA 512: common questions
What microcontroller does the FPGA 512 use?
The FPGA 512 is built around the LFE5U-25F-7BG256I, from the FPGA family.
How many components are on the FPGA 512?
134 components, from 42 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the FPGA 512 design files?
From the BLegrand881/FPGA_512 repository on GitHub, which has a netlist; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the FPGA 512 design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with BLegrand881. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the FPGA 512 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug FPGA firmware against it before you order a PCB.
