About the 1 1 PCB

1 1 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by BooyahDev, published on GitHub under the Unlicense license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80 × 50 mm, with 12 components from 9 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATTINY1616-MNR, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 4 capacitors, 3 resistors, 2 diodes, 1 IC, 1 connector and 1 antenna.

1 1: common questions

What microcontroller does the 1 1 use?

The 1 1 is built around the ATTINY1616-MNR, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the 1 1 PCB?

The 1 1 measures 80 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the 1 1?

12 components, from 9 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the 1 1 design files?

From the BooyahDev/Silica-Custom repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the 1 1 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Unlicense license, which BooyahDev chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the 1 1 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
