Impedance analyzer board for versatile, high-speed, and distributed sensor measurement

This repository includes the software, firmware, and hardware for the readout electronics used in the paper:

The Client subfolder contains the source code for the PC client, written in Python. The client allows connection to the FPGA and optional logging of data. The data can be interpreted in a variety of formats, such as: - raw: raw ADC counts (32-bit signed integer) - iq: impedances expressed as in-phase and quadrature components (equivalently, real and imagingary impedance components) in Ohms. - magphase: impedances expressed as magnitude (in dB) and phase (in degrees). - RCseries…

SensRead: common questions

How big is the SensRead PCB?

The SensRead measures 45.7 × 76.2 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the SensRead?

71 components, from 64 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the SensRead design files?

From the bretthannigan/sensor-readout-board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the SensRead design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with bretthannigan. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
