About the Flasher PCB

Flasher is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by cactorium, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 43.4 × 28.8 mm, with 17 components from 10 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATTINY24-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family. By type, the board carries 9 resistors, 3 connectors, 2 transistors, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.

From the project

EEG software, alpha stages. Will be opensourced when it's working!

UCFBrainStuff ============= UCF senior design project, schematic files and other things. Will be open sourced at some point probably! All work is currently done in KiCAD but it may be converted to a different EDA software

Flasher: common questions

What microcontroller does the Flasher use?

The Flasher is built around the ATTINY24-SS, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Flasher PCB?

The Flasher measures 43.4 × 28.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Flasher?

17 components, from 10 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Flasher design files?

From the cactorium/UCFBrainStuff repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Flasher design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which cactorium chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Flasher without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
