About the OpenBand PCB
OpenBand is an open source PCB design by chancehowarth33, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 36 × 33.9 mm, with 32 components from 22 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the BMI270, MAX30102EFD_T, CYBLE-416045-02, MCP73831-2-OT and TLV70018_SOT353. By type, the board carries 14 capacitors, 5 ICs, 4 resistors and 2 LEDs.
It belongs with the wearables, sensors and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

Starter directory for wearable tech health tracking device
I wanted to know whether I could build a real consumer wearable end to end, by myself, rather than wiring a dev board to a breakout sensor and calling it a project. That means every layer: schematic capture, a two-layer board with an RF section that actually works, hand assembly, bare-metal bring-up, an RTOS, sensor drivers written against datasheets, the signal processing that turns raw photodiode counts into a heart rate, a Bluetooth GATT server, a printed enclosure, and a native phone app to display it all.
