This repo contains all the materials needed to build an Agnostic Box

This folder contains the PCB files for the Agnostic Box.

The PCB was made with KiCad, an open source electronics design suite. The folder includes KiCad project files, schematic and PCB layout files, Gerber files, drill files, board backups, graphics, footprints, and PCB export files.

Use the KiCad project files to inspect or modify the schematic and PCB layout. Use the Gerber and drill files when ordering or manufacturing the PCB.

Agnosticbox: common questions

What microcontroller does the Agnosticbox use?

The Agnosticbox is built around the Arduino_Nano_v3.x, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Agnosticbox PCB?

The Agnosticbox measures 83.7 × 74.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Agnosticbox?

18 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Agnosticbox design files?

From the chihauccisoilconte/agnosticbox repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Agnosticbox design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with chihauccisoilconte. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Agnosticbox without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
