About the ModbusRTU-Test-Shield

ModbusRTU-Test-Shield is an open source PCB design by CMB27, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 68.6 × 53.3 mm, with 40 components from 20 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the SN65HVD3082EP and MAX232N. By type, the board carries 11 diodes, 9 resistors, 6 connectors, 6 capacitors, 4 switches and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the rf & radio and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A shield for Arduino boards that provides an RS-485 transceiver, RS-232 transceiver, and a selection of buttons, lights, and knobs.

A shield for Arduino boards that provides an RS-485 transceiver, RS-232 transceiver, and a selection of buttons, lights, and knobs. This board was designed to aid in testing the ModbusRTUSlave and ModbusRTUMaster libraries.

- This shield is designed to work with both 5V and 3.3V Arduino boards. - A 3-position removable screw terminal is used as the RS-485 interface. - A RJ12 connector is used as the RS-232 inteface. The pinout of this connector is designed to make it compatible with Automation Direct products. - The potentiomter knobs can be easily removed so you can stack other shields on…
