About the Left PCB
Left is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by csun, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 190.5 × 125.7 mm, with 72 components from 72 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ProMicro, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the TRRS. By type, the board carries 34 relays, 34 diodes, 2 ICs, 1 connector and 1 switch.
From the project
PCB and Plate files for the ellipsis split https://www.csun.io/2020/06/14/ellipsis-split-buildlog.html
KiCad files for the pcb in the pcb/ directory
dxf files for the plates in the plates/ directory. This includes files for the templates used to cut out the wrist rests.
The board is laid out for this specific aliexpress promicro clone. You can probably use a standard promicro, but the USB port will not be flush with the edge of the board.
The toggle switch used is the E-Switch 100SP1T2B4M6QE. TBH I'd buy a clone of this off aliexpress too and save yourself a bunch of money.

Left: common questions
What microcontroller does the Left use?
The Left is built around the ProMicro, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Left PCB?
The Left measures 190.5 × 125.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Left?
72 components, from 72 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Left design files?
From the csun/ellipsis_split_files repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Left design in my own project?
It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Left without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
