About the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller PCB
PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by Duckle29, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 58.4 × 66.7 mm, with 51 components from 31 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATMEGA328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the ZXGD3009E6, LMR14006Y and LMR14006X. By type, the board carries 19 capacitors, 12 resistors, 7 diodes, 4 ICs, 4 connectors and 3 inductors.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
A PWM Solar Charge controller based on Julian Lietts PWM5
I have decided to revive this project again. It's gonna be brought back as the PWM10, as It'll be designed to handle 10A, which is a little over a 140W panel. The Rev2 files are designed using KiCAD
This is an attempt at making an Arduino powered PWM solar charge controller.
The design of this controller is heavily based on Julian Iletts PWM5 controller, which he sadly discontinued. He however makes some interesting Youtube videos.

PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller: common questions
What microcontroller does the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller use?
The PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller is built around the ATMEGA328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller PCB?
The PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller measures 58.4 × 66.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller?
51 components, from 31 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller design files?
From the Duckle29/PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Duckle29 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the PWM-Solar-Charge-Controller without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
