LPC812 Breakout Board

Small breakout board designed for the LPC812 ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontrollers from NXP

- minimal subset of components, no power regulation etc. - optional external crystal - if not used, its GPIO pins can be connected to the user header by soldering relevant 0R resistors (see schematic) - two buffered user LEDs, connected to the header - no reserved GPIOs - reset button - standard 0.05" pitch SWD programming header, SWD signals also present on the pin headers

Lpc812-breakout: common questions

What microcontroller does the Lpc812-breakout use?

The Lpc812-breakout is built around the LPC812M101JDH20, from the NXP family.

How big is the Lpc812-breakout?

The Lpc812-breakout measures 23 × 37.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Lpc812-breakout?

27 components, from 18 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Lpc812-breakout design files?

From the elevendroids/lpc812-breakout repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Lpc812-breakout design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-SA-4.0 license, which elevendroids chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Lpc812-breakout without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
