About the Display module

Display module is an open source PCB design by gabebuckmaster, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 96 × 40 mm, with 21 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the HV5122. By type, the board carries 13 resistors, 2 connectors, 1 IC and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the displays & leds and robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

A minimalist nixie tube clock design in a cnc-machined hardwood case using IN12B tubes.

This PCB includes the nixie tubes themselves, current limiting resistors, and the high voltage shift register.

Display module: common questions

How big is the Display module?

The Display module measures 96 × 40 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Display module?

21 components, from 7 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Display module design files?

From the gabebuckmaster/nixie_clock repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Display module design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which gabebuckmaster chose for the repository.
