By type, the board carries 47 resistors, 13 connectors, 13 diodes, 7 transistors, 4 capacitors and 2 fuses.

From the project

Electronics board for Wanos

Structured notes and read-only KiCad projects for legacy WISC hardware. Current WanOS runs on WISC in the field — mainly the 2.5.3 I/O carrier plus the 2.6.4 HDMI board on the Pi that drives LCD screens.

Read-only rule: Do not edit KiCad sources here — see .cursor/rules/wisc-boards-readonly.mdc. New design work lives in projects/wanos-board/ (wanos-pcb-v1).

Wisc v5: common questions

How big is the Wisc v5 PCB?

The Wisc v5 measures 74 × 105 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Wisc v5?

86 components, from 32 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Wisc v5 design files?

From the gitwannes/wanos-pcb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Wisc v5 design in my own project?

It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
