About the Pcb journey
Pcb journey is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by hardikrawat910-byte, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 82 × 49 mm, with 10 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the MAX30102 and SSD1306. By type, the board carries 4 resistors, 3 capacitors, 2 ICs and 1 module.
From the project
This is my first PCB, designed from scratch in KiCad 9 on 12–13 October 2026. It is a carrier board that joins an Arduino Nano, a MAX30102 heart-rate and SpO₂ sensor, a 0.96" SSD1306 OLED and three navigation buttons, with an alarm LED. It is laid out for a pulse-monitor build.

Both modules share one I²C bus. Their addresses don't clash: 0x57 for the MAX30102 and 0x3C for the SSD1306. The full parts list is in bom/BOM.csv.

Pcb journey: common questions
What microcontroller does the Pcb journey use?
The Pcb journey is built around the ARDUINO_NANO_V3.X, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Pcb journey?
The Pcb journey measures 82 × 49 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.600198 mm thick.
How many components are on the Pcb journey?
10 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Pcb journey design files?
From the hardikrawat910-byte/pcb-journey repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Pcb journey design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hardikrawat910-byte. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Pcb journey without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
